Glasgow 1770 Peated Cask Strength is here! Our popular rich and smoky release has been double distilled with malted barley that has been peated to 50ppm with mainland peat from Aberdeenshire, before maturing in virgin American white oak and finishing in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks.

For Batch 02 we have chosen three hogsheads that truly demonstrate the rich and smoky character that fans expect from our peated style - these were married together and are presented at 60.7% ABV with 1000 bottles available.

Batch 01 launched last year, and was awarded a Gold Medal at the 2024 Global Scotch Whisky Masters.

Experience notes of rich BBQ sauce, tobacco leaf and opulent smoked Iberico ham married with sticky poached plums, dried apricots and flamed orange zest for a truly stunning showcase of the Peated whisky we’re producing at The Glasgow Distillery.
