Distillerie Bonne Mère was a sugarfactory from 1863 untill 1973 and has since been converted into a modern Rum-distillery.
This Sample X had three years of tropical ageing on Guadeloupe. Then the rum was shipped to Europe where is was stored for a short while before being transferred to an ex-bourbon barrel for further maturation.
