Colour Pale gold.
Nose As always, that classic aldehydic profile from aged grain - sweet, solventy aromas mingle with floral notes, with marzipan and almonds evident throughout. Additionally, the rum cask introduces vanilla and light toffee to the fray.
Taste Quite delicious. Madagascan vanilla, coconut ice cream and caramlised almonds. All of which are underpinned by deep dark rum notes - cocoa dusted chocolate truffles, molasses and over-ripe fruits.
